Mr. Frank Lazzeri

Frank Lazzeri has served on ASECU's Board of Directors for the last 5 years and is currently Chairman of the Board. He has been a Boardman resident for the past 32 years and is a retired educator with 44 years of experience working in various capacities, all for the Boardman Local School District. Frank's work experience includes; organizing, budgeting, purchasing, hiring and personnel supervision, to name a few. Additionally, he has been member of St. Charles Catholic Church for over 30 years where he also volunteers and serves in various capacities. He is in his second year serving on their Parish Council- a group of church leaders who advise the pastor. Frank has been involved and contributed to multiple committees within the ASECU Board and wishes "to continue in that capacity so that our organization can continue to expand and help more people".
 
Mr. Charles Stevens

Charles Stevens has served 23 years on ASECU's Board of Directors, serving as Chairman for 12 years. During his time on the Board, he chaired a taskforce of both ASECU Directors and ASECU management to review and update the ASECU Policy Manual and the Human Resources Policy Manual. Charles was awarded a Ph. D. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and served as the Dean of Engineering and Technology at YSU for 7 years. He retired in 2002. Regarding his financial related experience, Charles states: "I was responsible for budgets from 10-14 million dollars during the 20 years of my work experience. This included from 50-170 faculty and staff."
 
Mr. Mitchell Paxson

Mitchell Paxson is a graduate of Lordstown High School, graduating in 1968. He served three years in the US Army as a stock control and accounting specialist from August 1968-1971, earning the rank of E-5. After the Army, Mitchell worked at Packard Electric in Warren from 1971 until 2005. His last position was as a payroll clerk for Asia Pacific Sales Group. He then worked at Lowe's from 2005-2020 as the display manager and later in commercial sales as an estimator. Mitchell is also a graduate of Kent State University, where he studied to be a Legal Assisting Paralegal. Mitchell states: "I served as a Board Member at Shepherd of the Valley for one year. I also served two terms as Board of Education member for Lordstown High School (1984-1992). Most recently, I have served as a Board of Election Official in the last two elections. I am presently enjoying retirement".
