Shawn Houk

Shawn grew up in rural northwest Oklahoma where his father worked as a property and casualty insurance agent along with taking care of the family farm. His mother worked as a teacher for over 20 years before retiring. During high school, Shawn's activities included participation in multiple sports along with leadership activities in FFA and Student Council. During the summer months, he spent his time working on the family farm.

After graduating high school, Shawn attended the University of Oklahoma and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. While attending college full time he worked part time jobs in gymnasium centers. Activities during college included being a member of the varsity cheerleading squad performing during football and basketball games, being selected as an NCA All-American, and being a member of a Collegiate National Championship winning squad.

After college, Shawn worked in a bond information company for 3 years before being recruited to work in a financial planning firm as a sales assistant. He worked as a sales assistant for 18 years before transitioning into a financial advisor role in 2016, currently working with the DBM Wealth Management firm.

Shawn and his wife Michelle spend their free time traveling and attending their nieces and nephew's activities. They also own a retail flower shop in Shawn's hometown of Fairview. Organizations where Shawn is an active member include the Northwest Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce currently serving as an Ambassador and Board member; Northwest Oklahoma City Rotary International organization currently serving as Club President; FBI Oklahoma City Citizens Academy Alumni Association currently serving as President; and a member of the Association of Financial Educators. Shawn also serves on the Supervisory Committee of Focus Federal Credit Union and on an Advisory council of the Northwest YMCA branches. Other personal interests include officiating high school football while serving as President of the OKC Metro Officials Association.
 
James R. Carroll

Owner of James R. Carroll Private Investigations with 40 years investigative services experience.

Jim is past President of the Hefner Village Homeowners Association, former President of the Oklahoma Private Investigators Association (OPIA), former Chairman and current member of the Private Security Advisory Council to the Oklahoma Council of Law Enforcement Education and Training (CLEET). He is also a Master Gardner and former real estate broker. Jim also served as Chair, FOCUS Supervisory Committee and is currently the Vice Chairman of the FOCUS Board of Directors. During Jim's service to CLEET and OPIA, he served as legislative liaison working with Representatives and Senators to enact legislation impacting Law Enforcement and the Private Security industry in Oklahoma. Jim is the retired Executive Director of the Oklahoma Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, the oldest and largest law enforcement association in Oklahoma. OSPOA recently honored Jim as a Life Member for his service to the Law Enforcement profession.

Jim has been a credit union member since 1984 and freely volunteers his time and experiences to the members. He is dedicated to continuing and enhancing his service to the credit union members and fostering growth by serving once again on the Board of Directors.

Jim and his wife, Kay have been married for 63 years and are avid travelers, enjoying the states and other countries as time allows.
 
Tricia Gardner, JD

Tricia Gardner, JD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in the Department of Pediatrics, and a licensed attorney. She currently serves as the Administrator of the Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and Director of the Interdisciplinary Training Program on Child Abuse and Neglect (ITP). She is also a member of the National Center on the Sexual Behavior of Youth Training and Technical Assistance Team and of an Oklahoma County Post-Adjudication Review Board.

Ms. Gardner has been a member of Focus Federal Credit Union since 1993, when she signed up on her first day as an employee of OUHSC. She originally served on the Focus supervisory committee for 2 years before being elected to the Board in 2018 and has enjoyed learning more about the credit union and banking system.

Ms. Gardner has been married to a wonderful husband for 22 years and has a son (who also has an account at Focus!) that is a senior at Norman North High School.
 
Greg Peck

Greg Peck became a member of the Board of Directors with Focus in 2006. Currently he is board secretary and has been since 2018. Previously, he served eight years on the Supervisory Committee. A native of Oklahoma City, Greg's career started in 1988 with Hillcrest Health Center as a Human Resources Generalist for eleven years. The years after, he continued to work for several healthcare systems including Integris Health, Norman Regional Health System, Daily Living Center, and HealthBack Home Health/Faith Hospice where he was the Director of Human Resources. Currently, Greg works as an independent human resources consultant. Greg also served eight years in the U.S Naval Reserve. In addition, Greg worked on a degree in Liberal Arts at Oklahoma City Community College and Oklahoma City University.
