Ms. Kimberly Allen, M.A.
Ms. Kimberly  Allen, M.A. Ms. Kimberly Allen, M.A., is the Executive Officer at the National Institute on Minority Health & Health Disparities, overseeing the financial/HR management, employee/labor relations, policy development, information technology, and acquisitions activities. She holds Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of MD., Baltimore Cnty. She is a graduate of the NIH Executive Leadership Program and is a senior fellow for the Partnership for Public Service Excellence in Government Fellows Program. She has served on trans-NIH workgroups such as the Optimize Acquisition Structure Initiative, the Administrative Management Steering Committee, the Deputy Director for Management Speakers Series, and is an official mentor for a Presidential Management Fellow. She has been an NIHFCU since 2021.
 
Mr. Don Christoferson
Mr. Don  Christoferson Mr. Don Christoferson has served on the Board from 1999-2005, 2007-2018, and 2019 to present. He has held the positions of Vice Chair and Secretary and is currently serving as Treasure and Chair of the ALM Committee. He retired from the NIH after serving 11 years as Executive Officer of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and priorto that as Deputy Executive Officer of the National Cancer Institute. Mr. Christoferson received numerous awards including the US Public Health Service Special Recognition Award, the NIH Director's Award, and the Senior Executive Service Presidential Rank of Meritorious Executive. His fields of expertise are financial management, organizational/business process management, and human resources. He has been an NIHFCU member since 1972.
 
Ms. Laura Gent
Ms. Laura  Gent Ms. Laura Gent is Vice Chair of the NIHFCU Board of Directors. She chairs the Information Technology Steering Committee (ITSC) and has served on the ITSC and the Asset Liability Management Committee for approximately eight years. Ms. Gent has over 22 years of federal financial experience, with over twelve years at the NIH. In 2022, she retired as the Budget Officer of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Ms. Gent now serves as Strategy Advisor in the Information Technology Resources Branch at the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. She holds a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University. Ms. Gent received three NIH Director's Awards and has been an NIHFCU member since 2011.
 
Mr. James Hollywood, III
Mr. James  Hollywood, III Mr. James Hollywood, III is the Treasurer of a $1.7 million national justice nonprofit. He consistently demonstrates a dedication to fiscal responsibility and ethical leadership. In his role with the Coalition for Juvenile Justice, James skillfully managed finances, allocated resources, and implemented financial controls that ensured the nonprofit's stability and growth. Mr. Hollywood is well-versed in navigating complex financial landscapes and promoting transparency and governance. He is a dual doctoral candidate and has dual master's degrees in both Master in Communications and Public Administration and a Bachelor's in Criminology/Pre Law. He has been an NIHFCU member since 2021.
 
Mr. John Jarman
Mr. John  Jarman Mr. John Jarman has served on the NIH Federal Credit Union Board of Directors on and off for over 25 years. Prior to serving on the Board, he served as Chairman of the Credit Union's Supervisory Committee. Prior to his retirement, he served as the Associate Director for Administration/Executive Officer for the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. Mr. Jarman held various management and budget positions at the NIH and the Office of the Secretary, HHS. Mr. Jarman has a B.A. in sociology and B.S. in business management from the University of Maryland, and an M.B.A. from American University. He was a Certified Public Accountant.
 
Dr. Collins Odongo
Dr. Collins  Odongo Dr. Collins Odongo earned his Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University and presently serves as a Tax Advisor at Block Advisors. He possesses a Master of Arts in Global Development and Peace, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business, both acquired from the University of Bridgeport, CT. With extensive experience exceeding 15 years, Dr. Odongo is recognized as a strategic leader in business development and technology. His accomplishments include formulating effective business chain strategies, leading sales development initiatives, demonstrating adept project management skills, and fostering capacity building across the public and private sectors, as well as in academia. He currently holds a position on the NIHFCU Strategic Planning and Governance Committee. He has been an NIHFCU member since 2018.
 
Mr. Daniyal Sanusi
Mr. Daniyal  Sanusi Mr. Daniyal Sanusi has over 30 years in the financial services sector; Insurance, Banking, and Federal Government financial management operations. His experience includes risk management, internal audit, and cybersecurity. He is presently a Project Manager on a major federal government cybersecurity project. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of MD., and numerous professional certifications, such as Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Security Manager, Certification in Risk Management Assurance, Project Management Professional, Certified Ethical Hacker, and Certified Information System Security Professional. Mr. Sanusi presently serves on the NIHFCU Board and on its Supervisory and IT Steering Committees. He has been an NIHFCU member since 2008.
 
Ms. Lynda Wellen
Ms. Lynda   Wellen Ms. Lynda Wellen has over thirty years of extensive experience in audit, accounting, and compliance across multiple regional banks and credit unions. Holding leadership roles in the audit departments of two multibillion-dollar financial institutions, she was the lead interface with external financial auditors and federal regulators. She was responsible for both financial and information technology security audits and compliance reviews. Ms. Wellen was the Audit Director of the NIHFCU for two years and has a deep understanding of the organization. She is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Finance degree from Loyola College. She has been an NIHFCU member since 2013.
