CU Ballot

Hold elections that let your members vote anytime, anywhere, and any way they want.

CUBallot provides independent voting services to Credit Unions. Developed and tested in real voting environments, CUBallot offers the unique customization to handle any election issue or process.

An election is the perfect time to remind members they own the Credit Union. Let every member know their opinion matters and allow them to cast their ballot by computer, tablet, smartphone, telephone, or paper. We give every member the option to participate anytime, anywhere.

Web Voting

We provide an independent, secure web site with a unique, co-branded web address that is specific to each election. All communication with the site is performed using full encryption to achieve the highest level of security. Learn MoreCollapse

The site design and functionality is user-friendly. Members will enjoy the ease and convenience of voting on-line anytime of any day.

The site supports multiple approaches to authenticating voters. Unique member IDs and passwords can be comprised of member account numbers, birth dates, social security numbers, or any other identification the Credit Union can supply that will uniquely identify each member who is eligible to vote. Alternatively, CU Ballot can generate unique identifiers for each member or interface with many online banking systems.

Duplicate voting by any member, regardless of method, is detected and prevented.

Telephone Voting

Let members cast votes by dialing a unique toll-free number specific to your election. Supports both spoken words and a standard keypad. Learn MoreCollapse

This option allows Credit Union members to cast votes by dialing a toll-free number that is specific to this election and follow the prompts of a telephone Interactive Voice Response system (IVR). The telephone system supports both spoken words and a standard keypad. All communication between the IVR and the remote server is fully encrypted. Telephone voting supports the same methods of member validation available under the Internet Voting option and uses the same files and processes.

Paper Voting

A complete turnkey solution including printing and mailing ballots, an independent P.O. Box and business reply envelopes to encourage turnout. Learn MoreCollapse

The traditional method for handling voting is using paper ballots and CU Ballot supports this approach. CU Ballot provides a complete solution including printing and mailing ballots if desired. A United States Post Office mailbox and a Business Reply Mail Permit are included to facilitate receiving paper ballots.

Paper ballots can be custom designed for each election based on the requirements of the Credit Union.

Ballots will be entered into the system as they are received and the date and time of each entry will be recorded in the database. The paper ballots will be stored in a fire-resistant safe for a period based on the record retention policy of the Credit Union.

The paper ballots can be validated using a member number, signature, unique PIN or other methods. The identifier can be entered on the ballots by the voting member or pre-printed on each ballot.

Duplicate voting by any member, regardless of method, is detected and prevented.

Paper-on-Demand

Save tens of thousands of dollars in printing and postage but still let your members cast their ballots on paper. Used in combination with telephone voting, members may vote immediately or request a paper ballot. Learn MoreCollapse

Make certain every member is included. You can let members vote via paper without the cost of printing and mailing a ballot to every member.

An alternative method of allowing members to vote via paper without incurring the expense involved in a mass mailing of ballots is ‘paper on demand’. CU Ballot provides a dedicated toll-free number where members may call and request a paper ballot be mailed to the address they have on record with the Credit Union. A United States Post Office mailbox and a business reply mail permit are included to facilitate receiving paper ballots.

Virtual Annual Meeting

We've developed a solution for hosting your Credit Union's Annual Meeting virtually. Learn MoreCollapse

This easy to use tool allows members to attend and participate in the Annual Meeting remotely. They can see and hear the presentations, download any materials that were handed out, post questions from the floor, and participate in voting on motions. The system supports computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones to make things as simple and convenient as possible for the membership.

Once the meeting ends the moderator receives a report showing which members attended remotely, any questions/comments they may have posted, and the results of any floor votes.

Select the combination of options that works best for your membership.

No matter which methods your members use, all votes are recorded, verified, and tabulated according to each Credit Union’s requirements by an independent outside entity. Duplicate voting is detected and prevented across all methods. Customized reports provide certified election results. Our process is specifically designed to make everything as easy as possible for your membership and for you.
